One Iowa Launches New TV Ad for Marriage Equality

In Iowa, the state Supreme Court didn't end the fight for marriage equality, it practically incensed it.

With constant protests at the capitol from anti-gay demonstrators, to death threats against gay senator Matt McCoy, to letters to a justice claiming "You are, after all, only a lawyer in a black robe," and now a call for civil disobedience to Iowa county recorders to refuse marriage licenses to same-sex couples, there's much more work to be done to protect our new found equality in Iowa.

As we all know in the equality movement, true and permanent change begins with the hearts and minds of the public. One Iowa, the state's largest LGBT organization, is already prepared to portray to the Iowa masses the truth behind the love driving marriage equality with a new TV ad to run throughout the state.

Keeping it on the air is not a cheap endeavor, and One Iowa needs help. In order to keep the ad running as long as needed, you can go to their website and donate.
