OK, but seriously, what the heck is happening in New York? No one knows for sure. But that seems to be a recurring theme.
Last week, the
Senate met for a special session called by Gov. Paterson to solve the state's budget problems and vote on the marriage bill.
They dawdled.
Nothing happened .
They met yesterday. Did anything happen? No.
Now,
they're expected to meet again today . Don't hold your breath. The new promise on the marriage bill is to have a vote on it by the end of the year.
